Gihane’s PhD project focuses on investigating the effects of electric fields on crystallization in microdroplets generated by microfluidics. She will develop novel approaches for the localized application of electric fields and use solid-state NMR and MAS DNP to uncover the atomic-scale mechanisms underlying electric-field-induced crystallization.
